- 2016年10月16〜18日にバンクーバーで第４回大会を開催する Global Alliance for Genomic Health (GA4GH)のClinical Working Group Cancer Task Teamが取りまとめた展望
- がんの分子プロファイリングの高速化と普及によって溢れ出してくる臨床データとゲノムデータが、がんの診断、予後診断ならびに治療の高度化に活用されることを待っている。今や、研究室、専門分野、国、地域などなどに孤立した“ サイロ”においてそれぞれ臨床データとゲノムデータを解析・蓄積する状況こそが、がんの精密療法の進歩を阻害している。Global Alliance for Genomic Health (GA4GH) は2013年に、臨床・ゲノムデータの共有を実現するためのフレームワークの確立を目指して設立された。
